Mark was born, raised and educated in Derry-Londonderry. After completing his Law Degree in London, he undertook his training and qualification as a solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen's University, Belfast. He was called to the Roll of Solicitors in 1999. Before setting up in practice on his own he worked in 3 Law Firms on the cityside of Derry- Londonderry specialising in a wide range of areas including criminal, family, commercial and employment law.
Mark has a Professional Certificate in Management, and an MBA from the University of Ulster. He is also an MII Certified Mediator who is on the Law Society of Northern Ireland Dispute Resolution service. Mark’s firm offers the North West and beyond fine legal skills in key areas of law.
